EXTENDED AERATION PLANTS

FM Environmental provides a range of extended aeration plants. These plants are usually used on larger applications (typically >500p.e.) though smaller units may be selected for specific applications when appropriate. Our BioPAC range is made up of steel bodied tanks and has been the workhorse of the sewage treatment industry over the last 40 years. With increasing steel costs we have adapted the larger extended aeration designs into precast concrete and GRP tanks to offer bespoke treatment solutions for individual sites.

The BioPac compact package treatment plant is designed to treat wastewater from all domestic and certain industrial sources. The biological wastewater treatment system is based on the extended aeration activated sludge process and incorporates both aeration and settlement zones in one unique tank system. The Biopac range is designed to meet the Royal Commission Standard of 20 mg/L BOD5 and 30 mg/L SS.
